Last week I got an opportunity to meet with my friend’s grandfather. Mr Singh is well known for his pleasing personality. He is 82 years of age but looks much younger than his age. I was quite impressed within few minutes after chatting with him. Now I came to know my friend’s reason for great success in such a short period of time, it was the teachings of his grandfather; he is idol for his family and friends. When I asked the secret of his health – he replied innocently, “Celebrating life! He elaborated I don’t hold grudge for the past but hold hope for the future”. He further added, “Past has gone and we can do nothing expect learning from it and fortunately I am a good learner”. He laughed at this moment.
He said, “Son this is not the secret but a fact of life that we all know but many of us unfortunately don’t accumulate in our behaviour and as a result live in ignorance”. He further added, “Gaurav always remember our beliefs don’t make us a better person but our behaviour does”. After listening this I replied Grandpa, “I would always remember these words of wisdom and it’s my honour that you have spared your precious time for me”.
